Blogs I read

I'm driving home from Maine with four sunburned, chlorine-soaked kids, stopping for church en route. Van filled mostly with laundry, since there was no facilities at the place we stayed...

So this will be short.

My question today: Sunday, September 8, 2013: Guffaw. Talk about 2 blogs you read that always force a belly laugh out of you? Why?

Well, I will briefly mention 4 that have made me laugh... Newest favorite funny blog: Mama Knows, Honeychild.  Her trademark sketches with captions are simply to die for.  Checking today, it looks like she occasionally does humor with photos too...  You'll see that from me but I can't draw like that! She's pretty much a guaranteed laugh, check her out!

I often enjoy the humor of Simcha Fisher at Patheos... and tend to share her views.

And though I do not share her political and moral views, I appreciate the writing style and wit of "This Fish Needs a Bicycle."  Her's was actually the first blog I ever ran across, prompting me some years ago to call out from my computer, "Honey?  What is this thing called 'a blog'?  What a ridiculously conceited concept..."

Lol.

And on a more personal level, my opera friend Imelda Bogue cracks me up.  You'll first see her mission on her blog page, "The Life of Christ in Song."  But when you see how she writes you'll know what I mean. She is currently engaged in a beautiful project: putting meditations on the Biblical stories of the rosary into glorious song.  I can't wait for her CD to come out!

And now, Mt. Washmore awaits, some hours away.  Oremus pro invicem!

  1. Well, we read a lot of the same blogs.... I also really enjoy Mama Knows and Simcha. I also really like Barefoot and Pregnant and Conversion Diary. And, of course, I'll shamelessly plug my own blog, One Catholic Mama. I usually laugh when I read it...mostly just to keep from crying and slapping my head in a "I can't believe I wrote that way." LOL

  4. I was diagnosed as HEPATITIS B carrier in 2013 with fibrosis of the
liver already present. I started on antiviral medications which
reduced the viral load initially. After a couple of years the virus
became resistant. I started on HEPATITIS B Herbal treatment from
ULTIMATE LIFE CLINIC(www.ultimatelifeclinic. com) in March, 2020. Their
treatment totally reversed the virus. I did another blood test after
the 6 months long treatment and tested negative to the virus. Amazing
treatment! This treatment is a breakthrough for all HBV carriers.
